How QR and barcode scanning works

Open QR templates
Go to Administration, then QR Templates. Label layouts are managed separately for inventory units, invoices, and storage bins.

Add a template
Click Add Template and choose unit, invoice, or storage bin. Set the units of measure, height, width, and background for the stock you print on.

Place the fields
Drop title, UPC, grade, and storage path onto the canvas. Resize each field and set font, colour, and alignment so it reads at arm's length.

Set a default and print
Save the template and mark it as the default for that entity. Print in sheets, with margins and label gaps set for your printer.

Scan on the floor
Scan a unit to open its record, scan a bin to assign a location, or scan an invoice at the pickup counter. No barcode hardware to buy.

No. Scanning uses the camera on a phone or tablet your team already has. Dedicated hardware is not required at any step, from dock intake through packing and buyer pickup.
Yes. UPC is one of the fields you can place on a template, alongside the title, grade, and full storage path. Put on the label whatever your floor needs to read without opening the record.
