Custom storage layouts
Not every warehouse has racks and aisles. Rename the levels to the words your crew already uses, and turn off the ones your floor does not have.

How custom storage layouts works

Start a warehouse
Go to the Warehouse section and click Add Warehouse. Enter the name, code, and location before you touch the storage setup.

Open storage levels
In the Storage Levels section, the default hierarchy is Zone, Aisle, Rack, Level, Bin. This is where you shape it to your building.

Rename and disable
Rename any level to the word your team uses, such as Section instead of Aisle. Switch off levels you do not have. Bin cannot be removed.

Save the layout
Click Add Warehouse. The facility now uses your structure, and every bin path printed on a label follows it.

Questions about this feature
Yes. Levels are named and enabled per warehouse, so a racked distribution building and a floor-stacked yard can each use a structure that fits, while inventory reporting stays consistent across both.
Level names can be edited as your process changes. Plan the structure before you bulk-create thousands of bins though, because printed labels carry the storage path and would need reprinting.
